About
Myers Barn Shop began serving MD, VA, WV, and PA with storage buildings in 1986 when Allen Myers decided to go back to the carpentry trade, (of which he had previous experience) and start a family owned and operated business. Allen, and two of his four sons, began the business with the basic tools: tool belts, nails, hammers, and saws. As time progressed, all four sons played an important role in the growth of the business. Although still a small business, we began to take a more automated approach to speed up production; while at the same time, still offering superior quality. It was at this time that we also began to expand our scope of work to include Garages, Pole Buildings, and Home Improvements. Over the years, three of the four sons have moved into other skilled occupations. David started working part time while in high school and began full time with Myers Barn Shop after graduating from high school in 1993. He continues to share management responsibilities with Allen.
Myers Barn Shop has done a vast variety of traditional and custom projects including: traditional framed garages and storage structures; pole buildings for storage, cars, machinery or livestock; home improvements: additions, decks, porches, interior remodeling; as well as, whole house interior and exterior renovations.
Myers Barn Shop, with the help of their employees, has remained a family owned and operated business; and, are still serving the same four states and surrounding areas. We are continuing to integrate new techniques and quality products as they become available to the construction market. Our goal is to remain a small business, providing honest, friendly, and personal service to all our clients. We want your project to be done to your specifications, and with the quality you expect, at affordable costs.
